But when it comes to face to face meetings with potential partners, clients, and providers, the business card is still the most straightforward tool for remembering and being remembered.

With a number of networking events coming up in the next week (including in Croydon on October 1st), it was time for me to rush out an order for some new cards. As ever, I turned to Moo. I’ve used them before and I can’t think of any reason not to use them again.

Every part of the process of ordering the cards is straightforward. When you’re done, they send you friendly and informative emails giving you the status of your order. And when the cards arrive, they’re beautifully packed and come with some fun notes that make you feel both valued and part of something a little special and different.

And before you think that I have some shares in Moo, let me reassure you that I have no relationship with the company other than as a loyal and very happy customer. That’s the power of this internet thing: I can express my opinion for all to see and it will be available for as long as the web survives.

One last rave about them, I promise. When I placed the order (on September 22nd – late afternoon), I was told that the cards would be printed within 4 days and probably posted on September 28th. Given that I wanted them for October 1st, this was leaving things fine. Guess what? Yesterday, the Moo email robot told me they had been printed and posted. Today they arrived. Perfect. It’s easy to see why Moo is winning awards and growing. They’ve recently expanded into the States. Visit the site and see why they’ve got such a great reputation. It’s as much about service and interaction as it is about the products.
